ROAD CONSTRUCTION...Northbound Exit 29/Highway 70 is closed.  

• Southbound I-35/Exit 29 is open: If you are coming Southbound on I-35 exit 29/Highway 70 East is open. You will go through an intersection at Highway 70 and Highway 77. At the next stoplight, there is a Texaco station on the southern corner of the highway. Turn right (south) at this intersection. You will pass the Ranger Station on the right and and the next road left will be where the group camps are located. Simply follow the signs for Group Camp #1. 
• Northbound I-35: From Texas you can get there two ways:

1. take take exit #24 (Lake Murray State Park) and turn RIGHT (East). It will dead end into 77S (Scenic). Turn left and follow it around to SYC signs.

       2. Go past exit 29 to the next exit North and U-Turn back to 29. It is open coming from the north.
