"Dear Ole' Sooner Youth Camp" just
completed her 63rd year. 201O is over but the impact of the camp lives
on. Our theme, IN HIS STEPS focused on what it means to follow Jesus.
Through the years, the person, work and call of Jesus has been the focus
of SYC. 230 teens and staff from over 18 churches spent the week at
Lake Murray with plenty of heat, Bible study, conversations about life,
faith and of course, fun. Some teens made a decision to follow Christ and were baptized. First year campers made up approimately 30
percent being first year campers. Staff came from Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, Tennesse, Colorado and North Carolina. We are grateful for all those who
particpated and sacrificed to make SYC happen to the glory of God.
Have a great year following Jesus and stay in touch.
